That was a phrase that surfaced in a game my family played at the beach this past summer. It cracked us up then and it still makes me smile to think about.
It also makes me think of this.
But in this case I should say somethings large are napping, I suppose.
Letting go of the world for a moment. Finding solace in sleep.
Forgetting about your argyle collar, your Armani glasses, and just cuddling up tight.
Letting the silence become a lullaby, the couch a vessel that takes you on a journey, a brief respite.
So go on then, slip into your

....there were other funny phrases that emerged from that game. Better leave those ones unsaid here on this blog, though. Especially if you'll be running photo essays based on them.

Wouldn't it be ideal to be a house cat? Does life get better than that? Also, I think it's great that at least one of your cats (don't know about the other) is so cuddly. One of our cats is so not cuddly that we have to feel grateful if she just walks by our legs.

Jase--ah, yeah. We'll leave those out. Plus I wanted to leave you some material for your blog.
Nina--he is super cuddly. Especially with Drew--he's basically obsessed with Drew and if Drew is sitting still for one moment, Tally takes that opportunity to jump up on him, start purring, and touch nose to nose with him. Our Percy is not as cuddly, but (especially if Tally is not around) she will come up onto our laps and snuggle. When she does it is so special.
I think that cat is not napping but taking possesion of his owner... the way cats do!
this is true. I am pretty sure Taliesin has a man-crush on Drew.
I was just looking at these pics again, Jess, and in the first pic Drew looks like he has a tiny head on a huge body...with an especially huge right arm! :-D
Well now he does have an especially huge right arm--you never noticed?!?!
i would like to point out that EVERYTHING jess drew in this game looked kinda....well....odd....
and I would like to point out that I only drew what was written.
Jessica, this kind of defense didn't work at the Nuremburg Trials and it's not going to work here.
well jase, I don't remember killing any innocent people for nothing other than their ethnicity during this family game, so I am pretty sure we can leave any and all comparisons to the Nuremburg trials out of this, if you don't mind.
