Okay, so I would love some help in choosing a new headshot...I've narrowed it down to these eight; what do you guys think? I've numbered them, in no particular order, so it's easier to tell me your fave (there I go again...)!

Any (kind) input is appreciated!!!! Thanks...

@eFirst off - these look great!

My fav are the smiling ones - I think your eyes really light up with your smile.

#3 and #6 are my favorite of the smiles.

I am with Jonathan, your smile is beautiful and I feel like the pictures with your smile have a lot of life and personality - I love #3 and #6

I really like 5 and 6. I think 5 is nice for a non-smiling one but I agree that your smiling ones are especially captivating. I like 6 the best for your smiling ones, I think the lighting is nice on that one. I really like these headshots...I like the simplicity of the black tank top.

They are all really good shots. I love the lighting and how it makes your skin glow. The focus is great, with your face nice and sharp and everything else fading back. You look confident, happy, bold, secure. Your smiles look very natural, not like you are forcing anything.

Bearing that in mind, let me get picky with some details:

Though you have a great open-mouth smile, for some reason I like the closed-mouth ones better. I'm not really sure why. It might be that the open-mouth smiles seem more one dimensional - like you're just happy, instead of happy and confident, bold, etc.

I like the view of the shadow of the cross out the window in 1 & 8, but I also find it a little distracting.

Against all the smiling pics #5 looks sad, but when viewed large size it is really a very good neutral shot.

#2 is my favorite. I really like the way your shoulder looks - you look very strong. I like #1 too, but in the large size the camera light is perfectly and completely reflected in your eyes. It drew my attention to the reflection instead of your eyes.

#6 and 7 are the same shot with slightly different cropping, right?

OK, I spent way too much time on this.

yeah, it is a little weird that you spent so much time on that.

First of all: WOW, they are all amazing! Yes, your face does light up when you are smiling with your mouth open, but my favorite is #4. There is something intriguing about a closed-mouth smile that makes me wonder what the person is smiling about. There's some mystery there. For an open-mouth smile, though, I like #6.

BTW, did I mention, WOW!! You go, girl!

I like #4 the best. I have to chuckle when I think of all the different answers you're getting. You are beautiful in all of them. I don't think many of us know what the people who look at headshots are looking for as well as you do. Listen to God, He'll tell you which one is best :)

They are all gorgeous because they are all pictures of you- but #3 is my favorite.

Ok I'm late to the party, but I like number 4 best, because there's something about that right side profile, plus you are smiling gently which lights up your face but doesn't squeeze those gorgeous eyes. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. I hope you had a good experience with this photographer.

Semi-A--thanks for calling my eyes gorgeous, that's really nice!

Thanks for all your input, friends--I appreciate it so much!

I did enjoy this photographer, plus his prices were not very bad, considering. The only thing is that he took all the shots on the rooftop in LA, where it was BRIGHT!!! I had a really hard time keeping my eyes open at all, and was frankly surprised that it even looked like I had eyes at all when I saw the pics!!!

Hmmm. Still not sure which pic to reproduce into the masses...
